My own Proverbs 30

There are three things that make my heart rejoice; yeah, even four¹; the song of the birds in the early hours of the morning. The glowing of the stars at the end of every day². The fresh green of the mountains that marks Spring. The promise of divine forgiveness, new life each day.³

There are three things that declare God lives; yeah, even four; the sun in its constant motion⁴- each setting and each rising, a image that will never cease to amaze. A newly born soul with an empty knowledge yet a full beauty.  The humble testimony of the boy prophet Joseph, “I saw a pillar of light exactly over my head.⁵” The sacrament of the Lord’s Supper, the water and bread; as I partake my heart shouts: “O Lord my God, Thou hast healed me⁶.”

There are three things that cause my heart to weep; yeah, even four; the plague of disregard for the future of ones body- my bowels utter: “this is not food and yet it is eaten!”⁷
The fulfillment of the generation prophesied by Agur⁸; A generation “pure in their own eyes” yet stained in the Lord’s.
The plague of Pornography, the minds laden with filth. Truly, ⁹men’s hearts have failed them.
My own sin. My feet have faltered from the path. My lack of understanding has led me far from you. My soul declares: “I am a imperfect sinner, tragically flawed¹⁰ and seperated from God”

There are three things that are light; yeah, even four; The fire¹¹ of Motivation to become more that burns in the heart of a wholehearted¹² man; this lights the path to tomorrow.
Words heavy with wisdom that shine on choice and thought.
Scriptures and words of the prophet that illuminate the way to the savior.
Words and acts of pure radiant love; brighter shines the love of the Son, “Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends¹³”
“For with thee is the fountain of life, and in thy light shall we see light.¹⁴”
